It has a pretty fce but the radar map is pitifully small. There are better weather apps.

The Weather HD Lite by Clear Day app could be better, but is better than most free weather apps. - It is visually appealing, seeing the animation of the type of conditions around you. - The Menu Bar icon provides easy access, but the draw back here is that the first click on the menu bar icon only shows your your cities list with their current temp. To get more details you have to click on the city. It would be nice if your primary location always showed the detail and if you want to see one of your other cities, click on one of them. - The application window is decent, but I would like to be able to shrink the window smaller than they allow. - The text of the conditions being viewed should be toward the top or centered to make it easier to see and read and not at the bottom left as it currently is. - The amount of detail is good. - It is nice that there is a map to view with option for radar, but the map is quite useless as you can’t zoom in far enough to see just your city. The farthest you can zoom in is to your state. - A view of the phase of the moon is available, but that’s more of a nice to have than anything that’s really important when all you want to see is what is the weather. - Another good thing is the Severe weather button to see any severe weather in the forecast. The two biggest dissappointments and reasons I won’t use Weather HD Lite as my primary weather app is because of the way it doesn’t show enough information when you click the Menu bar icon and the placement of the weather information in the applications main window.
i already had this App on my iPad and iPhone…and am delighted to be able to use it on all my Macs.. Great product…thanks..
This app is accurate, very useful and it has an amazing design! 5 stars
This app is both beautiful and functional. I highly recommend it to anyone who’s interested in the weather.
Great APP has everything I need to know about the weather.
really so nice and good ……..amazing work….
Just installed this app, and it’s cloudy with rain imminent from the visual look “outside". This app accurately shows this information and am looking forward to the rest of its contents being also accurate and informative. Will update as the weeks go by.
This is the weather app I’ve always wanted. Simple to use. Easy to see Radar & Future weather by hours. Love it
Great realtime Video and very accurate Weather forecast, looks like Clear Day Light does not hog Memory.
THis is my first iMac computer and I love it. I was looking for a weather app and found this one. It is just beautiful. I love the picture of our curent weatehr conditions.
I’ve been looking around for a decent weather app for my Macbook Pro for some time now. I’ve tried a few, but this one seems to be the best in term of accuracy and utility. I am using the “free” version for now, but fully intend to upgrade. My only reasons for not giving the app five stars is, I like to be able to look at more extended forecast trends, for example 15 days. Otherwise, I enjoy it and have found it useful.
Very good
Other than the weird glitch (circles spontaneously popped up in the middle of the radar), it’s great for checking the weather and finding out what’s coming your way! ;)
I guess this is really good app for one chief reason - you can get the weather at a number of web sites, but this app stores the locations you care about and so you can get the weather faster, in one or two clicks so to speak.
Love this app. Great to be able to use it on the IMac. Thanks.
very impressed with this app. The short videos it shows you really help you to plan for what the weather is going to be like.
really annoyed and feel miss led. i down loaded the “free” app only to find out that i have to upgrade for $2.99 in order to view more than 2 cities.
I THINK IT’S GREAT, BETTER THIN THE OTHERS
This app is a teaser designed to get you to buy their $5 full featured app. This gives a brief summary of your local weather. If you want detailed forecasts or other locations you have to PAY! I’m all for software developers making a buck, but lets call a spade a spade! If you provide a demo app then call it a demo!
